Aces Academy has been the project co-ordinator on a number of Erasmus+ projects since 2017, including projects related to the research, development, and deployment of online programmes at Master’s Level 7, Bachelor’s Level 6, and Level 5 undergraduate higher diploma level.
Erasmus+ Projects with Aces Academy as Co-ordinator:
1. MHEI-ME: Multiple Higher Educational Institutions Master’s in Entrepreneurship.
Reference: 2017-1-MTO-KA203-026960. Project duration: 2017 – 2019
This project involved HEIs from Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Slovakia, and Ukraine collaborating in the design, development, production, accreditation, and implementation of an EQF 90 ECTS credit Level 7 Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship hosted on the Aces Academy eLearning platform. The project was successfully completed in 2019. Aces Academy received an award from the National Agency in recognition of the success of the project and the best practices implemented.
2. ARPEL4Entrep: Accreditation and Recognition of Prior Experiences and Learning for Entrepreneurs
Reference: 2021-1-MT01-KA220-HED-000023290. Project duration: 2020 – 2023
This project involved HEIs from Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, and Slovakia collaborating in the design, development, production, accreditation, and implementation of an EQF 180 ECTS credit Level 6 Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship hosted on the Aces Academy eLearning platform. A major novelty of the project was the development of an online portal for the processing of recognition of prior-learning activities, through which students could earn up to 90 ECTS credits. The project was successfully completed in 2023.
3. SocEntrep4NGOs: Social Entreprenurship for NGOs
Reference: 2021-1-MT01-KA220-HED-000023290. Project duration: 2021 – 2024
This project involved HEIs from Greece, Italy, Malta, and Turkey collaborating in the design, development, production, accreditation, and implementation of an EQF 90 ECTS credit Level 5 Undergraduate Higher Diploma in Social Entrepreneurship hosted on the Aces Academy eLearning platform. The project was successfully completed in 2024.
4. EffNGO4Entrep: Effective Management of NGOs
Reference: 2021-1-MT01-KA210-ADU-000034017. Project duration: 2021 – 2022
Aces Academy was the HEI responsible for the development, production, accreditation, and implementation of an EQF 10 ECTS credit Level 5 Award in NGO Management hosted on the Aces Academy eLearning platform. The programme was developed in collaboration with two NGOs, Solidarity Overseas Services Malta and CARDET – Cyprus. This was based on the upgrading of a non-accredited self-learning course developed by Aces Academy and Solidarity Overseas Malta in 2018–2020 through Active Citizen Funding. The NGOs were actively involved in the development of sectoral case studies and particularly in the recruitment of students for the programme. The project was successfully completed in 2022.
5. NGO Mng+: Continued Development & Implementation of the Award in NGO Management
Reference: 2022-2-MT01-KA210-ADU-000093880. Project duration: January 2023 – December 2023
Aces Academy was the HEI responsible for the continued development and production of the accredited EQF 10 ECTS credit Level 5 Award in NGO Management previously developed and implemented under 2021-1-MT01-KA210-ADU-00034017. On the basis of feedback received from the earlier project, this project focused on the development of the underlying case studies and updating relevant content to allow for the inclusion of Albania as a project participant country. The two intakes which were implemented were hosted on the Aces Academy eLearning platform. The programme was again developed in collaboration with two NGOs, Solidarity Overseas Services Malta and CARDET – Cyprus. In addition, Friends of Korce, an Albanian NGO, was sub-contracted by SOS Malta for support work in Albania. The project was successfully completed in December 2023.
